Our Mission
Project Unite Humanity provides basic resources to the disadvantaged with a focus on education so that all people are empowered to reach their potential. When individuals achieve, their communities prosper.
Our Story
With a staggering 6 billion people living in poverty worldwide, there is a critical need to assist others with their basic necessities. When one lacks food, shelter, clothing or tools for literacy, he cannot even begin to think about what contributions he can make to society. By alleviating these limitations, Project Unite Humanity’s goal is to help people reach beyond their own personal survival so that everyone can contribute to help make the world a better place.
The two Founders of Project Unite Humanity are Robert Lawrie and Cyndi Schulman, both secondary school educators. Their common belief in understanding that a lack of resources contributes to an individual’s lack of achievement and growth has inspired them to help provide resources for those in need. As Rob often says, “One’s starting point does not have to be one’s ending point.” Giving a boost to one in need allows one to shift his focus from sheer survival to individual potential. Everyone benefits when everyone contributes.
